When E Cigs Come To Your Rescue

The nicotine free E-Cigarette is one of the newest and most successful alternatives to traditional tobacco cigarettes on the market today. Thanks to brand new technology, smokers can finally enjoy smoking whenever they want and wherever they want.

The electronic cigarette looks and acts like a real cigarette in every way except that it does not burn any tobacco. Since the e-cigarette is a non-flammable and non-tobacco product this means it has none of the harmful effects that are found with smoking traditional cigarettes.

The electronic cigarette is the tobacco alternative that smokers all over the world have been waiting for. No more putting up with increased taxes and prices that make smoking nearly impossible. Smokers can finally smoke in places where traditional tobacco cigarettes are banned, giving them back their freedom to enjoy their habit wherever they want.

The vapor produced in an electronic cigarette uses a nicotine base liquid which is known as E-Liquid. This liquid is heated by the atomizer to deliver the sensation, taste, and feel of smoking. You can have the best e-cigarette in the world, but your vapor experience will not be enjoyable without quality e-liquid. E-liquid can vary in –

  • Flavor
  • Consistency
  • Throat hit
  • Nicotine concentration

The flavor in the e-liquid varies from where it comes from, what components were used to make the liquid, and what flavorings were added. Naturally derived nicotine manufactured from organic plant sources usually taste better and are safer to use than synthetic nicotine. Natural flavorings from flavor concentrates are usually added to the liquid to give its distinctive flavors. These flavors are usually the same flavoring used to flavor food and candies.

Throat hit is the sensation felt in the back of the throat when the vapor is inhaled. In the early days of vaping, people felt vaping an e-cigarette were like inhaling air instead of the smoking sensation they enjoy compared to real cigarettes. Increased throat hit makes using an e-cigarette feel and taste more like real smoking. The liquid base, concentration of nicotine, and voltage of the e-cig affects the liquid’s throat hit.

Cappuccino Flavoured Nicotine Free E Cigs – Yes They Exist!

One UK based distributor, called VIP, says over stringent regulation could see them go out of business. Nonetheless Andy Whitmore, the company’s marketing director, said it would “welcome regulation that ensures the product can’t be sold to anyone under the age of 18”.

There are many other questions. For example, should using e-cigarettes be allowed in a public place? At the offices of UK Fast – an internet storage company – employees can use them at their desk.

They actually explained at the European Respiratory Society’s Annual Congress 2012, Vienna, on Sunday. Electronic cigarettes, also called e-cigarettes have also been marketed as effective smoking cessation devices.

Professor Christina Gratziou and team set out to determine what the short-term effects of smoking with e-cigarettes might be on different individuals, including those with no known health problems, as well as existing smokers with and without lung conditions.

They carried out experiments on 32 volunteers; of whom 8 were lifetime non-smokers and 24 were current regular smokers. Some of them had healthy lungs, while others lived with asthma or COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease).”It’s a tricky one,” says the company’s chief executive officer, Lawrence Jones.

“It does look like smoking but could you stop someone from chewing a pencil or biting their nails? I don’t think there’s any difference between going for a caffeine break and having a nicotine break.”Other companies have banned it. But in theory electronic cigarettes can be used anywhere – on planes, trains, in hospitals.

The BMA is worried that the more people start using e-cigarettes the more it will normalise something that looks like smoking. They have called for the ban on smoking in public places to be extended to e-cigarettes.

A decision on whether the regulation of electronic cigarettes should be tightened will be made in a few weeks.

Tobacco Flavoured E Cigs? Well, Yes!

Sounds unbelievable? Read to believe.

They look and feel like real cigarettes, but they’re much more than that. Doubling in market share annually, electronic cigarettes are taking off. Introduced to the U.S. market in 2007, e-cigarettes give smokers the freedom to smoke whenever and wherever they want, tobacco-free, while simultaneously quitting their traditional smoking habits. But there are still a lot of question surrounding the boom of the e-cig.

In the U.S., e-cigs aren’t subject to tobacco laws and the Food and Drug Administration has yet to officially speak out against them. E-cig brands seem to be popping up everywhere. Presented as –

  • Healthier
  • Cheaper
  • More environmentally-friendly than cigarettes

Smokers are using them to break their habit and celebrities are endorsing them–but this new high-tech smoking trend presents a variety of aspects worth a second look.

It looks like a cigarette, smokes like a cigarette, but doesn’t damage or smell like one. This product is a tobacco-free simulation of the cigarette experience. It’s actually an electronic inhaler. The flame is simulated, along with the vapor smoke, and plastic ash tip. The whole experience is “fake,” but satisfying. E-cigarette smokers inhale and exhale a liquid nicotine vapor heated by a battery; the amount of nicotine is chosen by the user.

Many other substitutes have failed, but the smoking experience provided by e-cigs is a sure sign of success for this product and market. Why? Because people addicted to cigarettes are addicted to holding the packing, taking out a cigarette, putting it to their lips, and inhaling. The entire step-by-step process is a package that triggers the emotional response of the smoker.

The niche for this smokeless product might be the key to understanding the success of the e-cig. Take smoke as an example. Both smokers and nonsmokers hate the smell of smoke; e-cigs have a pleasant aroma–an important differentiator in the market.

Despite the devices’ growing popularity, the researchers say, little is known about who uses e-cigarettes and why.

For the new study, they created an Internet survey that was accessible from the websites of two e-cigarette manufacturers from September 2011 to May 2012. The survey took about 15 to 20 minutes to complete.Overall, 1,123 ex-smokers and 218 current smokers from 33 different countries took the survey. About 16 percent of participants were from the U.S. and another 77 percent were from Europe. Seventy percent were men.

The new flavoured e cigarettes, like that of vanilla, are turning out to be quite a rage.

About three quarters of respondents said they started using e-cigarettes as a “complete alternative to smoking,” and 22 percent said they started using the devices for “other reasons” – including stopping smoking (7 percent), for health reasons (6 percent) and to get around smoking restrictions (3 percent).

Some 86 percent said they had either not smoked cigarettes for several weeks or months since using the e-cigarette or that the amount they smoked had decreased dramatically. The researchers also found that the majority of people responding to the surveys felt their health had improved since using the devices.

“Most people reported great health benefits. Namely –

  • Their cough was reduced
  • Their breathing was improved,”

said Dawkins, who added that the benefits are most likely from people smoking fewer cigarettes and not an effect of the devices or vapors.

Still, Dawkins told Reuters Health that more research is needed on the long-term effects of e-cigarettes.

Siegel said there’s no question that e-cigarettes are safer than smoking, but there are concerns over some of the vapors’ ingredients – including propylene glycol, which irritates airways, and formaldehyde, which is known to raise lung and nasal cancer risk when it’s inhaled.

Talking Better Health – Nicotine Free E Cigarettes

Health Canada, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the World Health Organization have all issued warnings in the past five years about the potential dangers and many unknowns about e-cigarettes.

Among the chief concerns are the fact that nicotine e-cigarettes contain nitrosamines, a known carcinogen, and that they often come in fruit or candy flavours like chocolate, cherry or piña colada that may appeal to youth and could lead them to get hooked on cigarettes.

If the effects of e-cigarettes containing nicotine are so grave, why are health experts pushing for their approval here?

Boston University’s Siegel said the dangers are greatly exaggerated. While it’s true that e-cigarettes contain trace levels of nitrosamines, so do approved nicotine replacement therapy products, such as patches and gums. The amounts are very low and don’t appear to cause any health problems, he said. And unlike those products, e-cigarettes afford smokers who are hooked on the act of holding a cigarette, taking a drag and inhaling, a very similar experience.

“We know hundreds of thousands of people are dying from cigarettes, yet those are perfectly legal,” said Siegel, who does not accept financial compensation from any e-cigarette company. “If [Health Canada is] going to ban anything, why not ban tobacco cigarettes?”

The real potential of e-cigarettes is harm reduction, said Theo Moraes, a pediatric respirologist at Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children. Refusing to regulate nicotine-containing e-cigarettes ignores the reality that many Canadians are already purchasing them online or buying them elsewhere, he said. Naming certain of its benefits –

  • No smoke

Electronic cigarettes give off no smoke! They only produce water vapor.  There are no pollutants being released into the air every time you take a puff. It’s the ‘green’ alternative to traditional cigarettes.

  • No Smoke smell

No more smoke smelling hair and clothes. When you use an electronic cigarette you breath out pure water vapor which contains no odor. I have used mine in the homes of non-smokers with no complaints.

  • Smoke where ever and when ever you want

Electronic cigarettes allow you to puff where ever you are so you can get your nicotine fix in places where smoking is not permitted. Now you can calm your cravings at work, in the restaurant, at the bar, or airport without having to step out for a ‘smoking break’.

Nicotine Free E Cigarette Juice – Info

Like gunpowder, the e-cigarette is a Chinese invention. The first ones came from the Ruyan company in 2004. According to media reports, Ruyan says it sold 300,000 e-cigarettes in 2008, and it’s far from the only company making the devices.

The e-cigarette comes in many shapes and sizes. Many look more or less like long cigarettes; others look like cigars or pipes. They all work the same basic way –

  • The user inhales through a mouthpiece.
  • Air flow triggers a sensor that switches on a small, battery-powered heater.
  • The heater vaporizes liquid nicotine in a small cartridge (it also activates a light at the “lit” end of the e-cigarette). Users can opt for a cartridge without nicotine.
  • The heater also vaporizes propylene glycol (PEG) in the cartridge. PEG is the stuff of which theatrical smoke is made. The user gets a puff of hot gas that feels a lot like tobacco smoke.
  • When the user exhales, there’s a cloud of PEG vapor that looks like smoke. The vapor quickly dissipates.
  • E-cigarettes contain no tobacco products; even the nicotine is synthetic.
  • Inhaling on an e-cigarette and the resulting buzzy satisfaction can vary greatly depending on the brand used, the nicotine content of the liquid, and the user’s tolerance. My brand of choice as of late has been the Logic rechargeable with refills. On a typical week I’ll go through about five refill cartridges of “extra high” nicotine volume, which I suppose would put me at about just over two packs a day if worked out to regular cigarettes.
  • When I was smoking cigarettes, I would smoke maybe a half pack a day. But I’m not convinced I’m getting more nicotine per day puffing on e-cigarettes than I would if I were smoking cigarettes.
  • This is because my e-cigarette inhaling habits vary wildly and I suspect the nicotine levels also vary from e-cig to e-cig and refill to refill. It is easy to suck on one of these things all day, like an adult pacifier. It’s also easy to take inconsistent drags, and each brand has a different draw. Also, the lower the battery the harder you have to draw on the e-cig to get a proper hit.
